Welcome to the debut (and long overdue) edition of our monthly newsletter. I will be publishing this ( hopefully) on a monthly basis in an effort to bring you up to date on current events, and to advise you of exciting upcoming activities, events, and changes as they are discussed and implemented. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
In looking through the extensive list of our forum membership, I was amazed at the names that popped out of clan mates and friends that we have not seen in a while. You have been missed. In an effort to get to the root of this perplexing situation, I have created a special forum under the General Section of our forums titled "Missing DawgZ". Whatever your reasons, either big or small, would you do me the personal favor of posting in there, giving me as much information as you are comfortable with, explaining why you no longer are a part of our community? I would greatly appreciate your participation in the discussion. It will help us to better serve our community. JunkYard DawgZ Theme Song Un-Veiled!
A combination of hard-driving rock and the wacky voices from Team Fortress 2, presented by yours truly. Running a little over 3 minutes, it tells the tale of our favorite fat guy, the Heavy, as he is in a musical mood; he invites our favorite smart ass, the Scout, to join in the singing. From there, taunts and comments from the other classes abound, mostly centering around the Scout, who seems to have it in (as usual) for the Heavy, and especially the poor Engie! You might be interested to know that the music track (not my original composition) was composed using virtual instrument software...yes, it was all composed on a midi keyboard! New TF2 Server Up!
This new server is sure to please. It is dedicated to the popular Payload maps, currently running Goldrush and Badwater Basin. Add in Fast Respawn, 32 slots, and "Roll the Dice", and you have a place to spend with hours and hours of fast-paced, action-filled, knee-slapping fragging. Our new MOTD is sure to be an attention getter also
New DND CS:S Server UP!
Looking for a new experience while playing CS:S? You've GOT to try out our new server! (hint; if it's full, you can still enjoy our other server that employs the WCS mod...unless it's full too). Check out our forums for details, stats, etc.
Current and Potential Members, Be Advised:
Our pricing structure and fees are currently under discussion by the BOD, and changes may be implemented. Why not go ahead, and renew your membership today? Your fees will extend your membership, and current admin privileges will run concurrent with them. It's a great way to beat inflation, while continuing to support JYD. Do it today, won't you?
